So just as like a quick introduction, would you like to say your name, role, and what inspired you to join Havenwood? So my name is Priya, and my role is the admission specialist here at Havenwood. And I would say the mission really drew me to Havenwood. Nice. If you could describe Havenwood in one word, what would it be and why? I think we're very innovative. So I think we're always seeking to improve our systems and be more efficient and embrace technology. Nice. Just moving on to the next category, sort of your role and calling. What called you to trauma treatment and what keeps you here? I had a lot of similar trauma growing up. And I think that the work that Havenwood is doing is incredible. And it's definitely super amazing to be able to be part of this, the progress with the girls and help them through their journeys. That's so nice. So what is a day for you at Havenwood look like? It's a lot of phone calls and emails and meetings. And yeah, I do try to add in some time with the girls though. Yesterday I went for my first outing with them. So that was kind of fun. We went to the nursery. A lot of talking with parents and other mental health professionals and things like that. That's nice. So how do you feel like your role at Havenwood sort of impacts a student's healing or sense of safety? I think showing up for them consistently every day and validating how they're feeling. And also just during the admissions process, we try to make it super welcoming and warm and make them feel like they're important and that we care about them. Awesome. And just so the next category, what makes Havenwood different? What does world-class trauma treatment look like in your role? In my role, it looks like, you know, making that admissions process as smooth as possible, making sure that the parents are feeling heard and that their concerns are addressed. That's pretty scary to put your kid in long-term residential treatment, especially if you're out of state, which all of our kids are from out of state. Definitely just spending a lot of time there and then during the admissions process, getting their favorite snack or meal and having wearing your favorite color and things like that. That's so nice. And it's very considerate, obviously. So may you share a moment that made you think this is why Have and Wood is different. I mean, to be transparent, this is the only treatment facility that I've worked at. So I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I've definitely been to other facilities. So I've toured other facilities. I haven't worked at other facilities, but I've toured them. And I would say that one thing that stood out to me was like the intentionality that we have. So making our spaces very clean and nice and organized and being thoughtful about the types of decorations that we're putting in, the cleanliness, having the programming be very intentional. I think that's what makes us different. So what is one innovation ritual or culture piece that you love at Havenwood? I do love the continuous improvement. The concept of continuous improvement is really awesome. It's based on the Toyota Factory and just every day trying to make systems more efficient, and that way we can spend more time on what really matters. Awesome. What is something intentional that outsiders might never see? Something intentional that outsiders never see is just all the thought that we put into each individual kid's treatment behind the scenes. So that looks like choosing the house that would be best for them, choosing the best therapist, the best peers to have in their cohort, things like that. We are very intentional about that and put a lot of thought into it behind the scenes. Nice. Just moving on to the next category, sort of growth, grit, and guidance. What is one skill or mindset that has helped you grow? I think that embracing grit has helped me a lot. And just kind of falling back to that when I'm feeling overwhelmed and just persevering through things has helped immensely. So similarly, what is something that sort of helps you reset on any kind of tough day you might have? Yeah, so any tough day I might have, I love listening to music or gardening, nature, spending time with my kid, my dogs, my husband, any of those will definitely help me. Nice. So what should someone know before sort of stepping into this kind of work? So before stepping into this kind of work, I think it's really important to be able to hold boundaries, but also like know your own limits and recognize when you're starting to burn out or you know, need to recharge and things like that. Totally fair. Yeah. What has this experience taught you specifically about healing? That healing looks different for everyone and it's not linear, and everyone has a different process and a different journey and different needs to get there. Totally fair. And just sort of the next category, she's a fun lightning round kind of thing. What is your go-to snack or coping skill on long shifts? I think eating candy, we have a candy culture. And yeah, candy helps. Candy's good. Candy's good. What is one surprising fact about you? I like a lot of different types of music. I think RB is the only type of music that I don't like. But I literally I love everyone. Yeah, that's nice. And just as the closing reflections, do you have any message for staff, students, and or families? Probably just like hang in there. It's a hard road, but it'll be worth it once you get there. Very nice. And last question is there anything exciting for you on the horizon? We are looking into puppies for Havenwood. Oh my goodness. That's so exciting. I volunteered for part of that. Also helping with the garden committee as well. Very nice.
